Friday, May 16th AIM Academy will host the studios fifth annual "Dance Across America" pediatric cancer dinner/performance benefit at Matawan's MJ's at the Bottonwood. The Andrea Rizzo foundation supporting "Dance Across America" is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the growth of dance therapy for pediatric and young adult populations in hospitals, special education classrooms and medical settings throughout the country. The Andréa Rizzo Foundation is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States that provides grants that directly fund dance/movement therapy programs exclusively for children with cancer and special needs. Hosted by AIM Academy owners, Kimberly Tam and Amy Boyle, guests will enjoy dinner, dancing, and performances by the AIM Performance Co. and the studios professional Hip Hop Company, UFP. "We are honored, to once again host an event supporting such a positive and healing cause; through a craft in which we have dedicated our lives" says Tam. Events begin at 6:00pm and all proceeds go directly to the Andrea Rizzo Foundation.
