Matawan's Senior Veterans Honored By Mayor, Police
Have you thanked a vet today? Matawan Mayor Joseph Altomonte and Police Lt. Matthew O'Boyle had a special service to thank local veterans.
MATAWAN, NJ — In Matawan on Thursday, the residents at Spring Hills assisted living facility who served in the U.S. military, or their surviving spouses, were honored on Veterans Day.
Matawan Mayor Joseph Altomonte and Lieutenant Matthew O'Boyle of the Matawan Police Department gave each service veteran a plaque and thanked them for their service.
They also had a live music performance from Brian Hentz from Right at Home assisted living facility in Old Bridge.

The Matawan American Legion Post 176 also had a wreath-laying service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery on Ravine Drive.
