Middletown Police Blotter, Includes Arrest Of Matawan Resident

Middletown police recently arrested defendants on charges of DWI and drug possession. They also arrested a man who they say had stun guns.

According to a news release from Detective Lt. Stephen Dollinger:

March 23

Michael Calamari, 33, from Austin Street in Tinton Falls, was arrested on by Patrolman Ryan Riffert on a fugitive warrant issued by the Philadelphia Police and on a charge of resisting arrest. He was held pending extradition to Pennsylvania.

March 24

Andrew Gill, 21, from Willis Avenue in Keansburg was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein on charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin within 500 feet of a public park, unlawful possession of suboxone, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an outstanding contempt of court warrant from the Oceanport Municipal Court and an outstanding violation of probation warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held pending a court date.

Christopher Gill, 23, from Mercer Avenue in Hazlet, was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein for possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin within 500 feet of a public park, unlawful possession of suboxone, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $75,000 bail.

Darren Mensch, 38, from Schelly Drive in Middletown, was arrested on by Detective Daniel Sullivan on a charge of shoplifting and on an outstanding contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $5,500 bail.

Jennifer Moore, 44, from Pearl Street in Middletown, was arrested by Corporal Lawrence Seymour on a charge of driving while intoxicated. She was released pending a court date.

March 25

Luis Vejar, 35, from Knollwood Drive in Middletown, was arrested by Police Officer Erica Weeks on a charge of simple assault. He was released after posting bail set at $2,500 with a 10 percent option.

Rick Chapman, 48, from Monmouth Avenue in the Leonardo section of town, was arrested by Patrolman Thomas Hughes on charges of stalking, harassment and violation of a court order. He was held on $14,750 bail.

Shannon LeComte, 31, from Navesink Avenue in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Brady Carr on a charge of shoplifting. He is accused of shoplifting from the ShopRite store. He was held on $1,000 bail.

March 27

Deborah Baldassari, 54, from Bruce Road in Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Michael Pintilie on a charge of simple assault. She was released pending a court date.

Eileen Gentile, 31, from Statesir Place in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Adam Colfer on a charge of simple assault. She was released pending a court date.

Vanessa Turner, 33, from Redfern Court in the Lincroft section of town, was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Riffert on a charge of shoplifting. She is accused of shoplifting from the Lincroft Acme. She was released pending a court date.

John Poukish, 36, from Stillwell Street in Matawan, was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Riffert on a charge of shoplifting. He is accused of shoplifting from the Lincroft Acme. He was released pending a court date.

Riley Costigan, 38, from Cherry Tree Farm Road in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Scott Davis on charges of simple assault, possession of stun guns, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of handcuffs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a toxic chemical. He was held on $5,000 bail.

Brian Hillard, 33, from Gettysburg Lane in Holmdel, was arrested by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis on a charge of shoplifting. He is accused of shoplifting from the QuickChek store. He was released pending a court date.

March 28

Michael Drake, 47, from Hudson Avenue in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Christopher Menendez on charges of harassment and disorderly conduct. He was released pending a court date.

April 1

Eleni Berry, 34, from Route 590 in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania, was arrested by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of oxycodone. She was released pending a court date.

April 2

Jacquelyn Santiago, 45, from Brainard Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of town, was arrested by Patrolman Christopher Menendez on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. She was held on $10,000 bail.

April 4

Daniel Petitt, 29, from Stratford Avenue in Old Bridge, was arrested by Patrolman Adam Colfer on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.

April 5

Charles Carlino, 49, from Skytop Gardens in Parlin, was arrested by Patrolman Charles Higgins on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.

Tyler Golusinski, 22, from Hill Terrace in Red Bank, was arrested by Corporal Mark Ward on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.
