New Jersey Shipwrecks: 350 Years in the Graveyard of the Atlantic,
by Margaret Thomas Buchholz, takes you on a gripping voyage through the
“Graveyard of the Atlantic” – a name bestowed upon the state’s
treacherous shoals and inlets. Ms. Buchholz will be at MAPL to explore
this history, along with the development of the U.S. Coast Guard,
through illustrations, photographs, and readings from the harrowing
memories of survivors and observers.
