New Shop Rite Coming to Old Bridge

Old Bridge, NJ - A new Shop Rite supermarket is coming to the Old Bridge area, just off Rt. 9 South at Schulmeister Road, and it promises to be a 90,000 square foot "grocery super center."

Shop Rite will be the anchor tenant for the 2,400-acre mixed-use shopping center development, The Oaks at Glenwood, by developer the Brunetti Organization. The shopping center is currently under construction and the Shop-Rite is scheduled to open in summer of 2017.

The shopping center is located at the corner of Route 9 South and Schulmeister Road in the center of Old Bridge Township. It will also included 2,000 residential units when construction is complete. There is an a NJ Transit park-and-ride bus facility nearby.
