Old Bridge Library Offers Students Top Academic Support with Tutor.com

Free service connects students to live tutors

With the belief that every child deserves to have access to outstanding academic support beyond the classroom, the Old Bridge Public Library has made an investment in the community by offering Tutor.com to its patrons.

Tutor.com is the largest online tutoring company with a community of more than 3,000 expert tutors and more than 11 million one-to-one tutoring sessions completed since its inception. In addition to online resource documents and links available 24 hours a day, professional tutors are available from 4-11pm in 40 subjects, including AP courses and SAT/ACT prep.

“We believe a library’s mission is to help build stronger communities, and Tutor.com is another resource which allows us to provide learning solutions for patrons of all ages,” noted Old Bridge Library Director Nancy Cohen. “We have received outstanding feedback from our patrons who have used the service and are eager to promote it to an ever greater audience.”

“Tutor.com also allows us to reach out to teens, showing them that the library is much more than just a building with thousands of books, but instead a  of services they can all use,” explained Cohen. “I encourage students in the community to log onto this site whenever they need extra assistance and to spread the word to their friends as well.”
