Old Bridge Man Grateful for Girlfriend's Second Chance at Life, Couple Walks in 5K to Support Organ Donation

Ron Oswick and Tanya Piccini are all smiles at NJ Sharing Network’s 4th Annual 5K Walk & USATF Certified Race on June 8 in New Providence. Piccini received a life-saving heart transplant nineteen years ago at age 11. Oswick started Team Second Chance to help raise money and awareness for NJ Sharing Network. Team Second Chance has raised more than $17,000 over the past four years. 

Nearly 9,000 people, all touched in some way by organ and tissue donation, walked or ran in the event to help raise awareness and funds for organ donation.
