Old Bridge Twp. Deli Sells $200K Winning Lottery Ticket

PARLIN, NJ - Do you ever duck into Crystal's deli in the Parlin section of Old Bridge Township?

The small mini-mart sold a $280,000 winning lottery ticket Monday, the New Jersey Lottery announced. The winning numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot were: 01, 05, 20, 38 and 41 and the XTRA number was: 02. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Crystal’s Deli, 308 Ernston Rd. (at the intersection with Bordentown Avenue) in Parlin.

Crystal's will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket, lottery executive director Carole Hedinger said.

The winner has not yet come forward, and the store didn't yet know they sold the winning ticket when Patch called them this morning. "Oh that's great," said Crystal's manager. "Thank you for telling us!"
