PA Woman Charged With Murder In Death Of Old Bridge Woman
An Old Bridge woman was found murdered inside her home last weekend, Sept. 17, and now police charged a Pennsylvania woman with the crime.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — On Monday, we reported how an Old Bridge woman was found shot to death inside her home last weekend, Saturday, Sept. 17.
Now on Friday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced that a Pennsylvania woman who personally knew the victim has been charged with the crime.
Police charged Elizabeth Jackson, 61, of Yeadon, Pennsylvania with one count of first-degree murder and weapons offenses. Jackson was arrested without incident in Pennsylvania on Thursday.

"This was not a random act of violence. Jackson knew the victim," said the prosecutor.
At 11 a.m. last Saturday, Deborah Brown-Hepworth, 65, was found by a relative inside her home on Hanna Lane in Old Bridge. The woman's relative called 911 and police confirmed she had been fatally shot.

This murder cases is being investigated by Detective Addie Spinola of the Old Bridge Police Department and Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
