Matawan-Aberdeen Cub Scout Pack 66 held their annual Pinewood Derby on Feb 28 at the Matawan Community Center. Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini was there to kick off the first race. Scouts from the Tigers to the Webelos, as well as parents and siblings, raced their cars. There were trophies given out to each rank for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, and also for Best Paint Job, Most Patriotic, Most Scout Like and Most Original. The first place winners will move on to District competition next month. Good luck to our Scouts as they go to Districts and Congratulations to all the winners!!!
