Aberdeen Township is inviting the community to "Pancakes in Pink," a fundraiser to benefit Bayshore Community Hospital's "Pink Fund," which provides mammograms for women with little or no insurance. The breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 1 at Matawan Regional High School, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Breakfast will include: pink pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. Tickets, which cost $5.00, can only be purchased at the door.
"Pancakes in Pink" is part of the month-long "Paint the Town Pink" initiative created by Meridian Health to encourage women, aged 40 and older, to have an annual mammogram, raise money to provide mammography to uninsured women in our community and make a difference in their lives.
