The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey Receives JASPER Awards

PDFNJ received several awards for public relations and advertising excellence.

Millburn, NJ --- The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey received seven JASPER Awards, including one gold awards, in several different categories at the 40th Annual Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association (JSPRAA) Awards Gala held Thursday, October 15, at the Double Tree Hotel in Eatontown, New Jersey.

The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey received JASPER Awards in the following categories:

· Silver Award - Television/Video/TV Public Service Announcement – Do the Math

This year JSPRAA accepted more than 182 entries in 57 categories that included advertising, print material, direct mail, radio and television, audio/visual, excellence in writing, media relations, public relations, special events and interactive communications. Judged by a panel of experts from the tri-state area, the entries that received the highest score in their category were given either a Gold or Silver Award.

“The Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey is very proud to have been recognized for its innovative prevention messages that are providing hope to families throughout the State,” said Angelo M. Valente, Executive Director of PDFNJ.

Best known for its statewide anti-drug advertising campaign, the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey is a private not-for-profit coalition of professionals from the communications, corporate and government communities whose collective mission is to reduce demand for illicit drugs in New Jersey through media communication. To date, more than $70 million in broadcast time and print space has been donated to the Partnership’s New Jersey campaign, making it the largest public service advertising campaign in New Jersey’s history. Since its inception the Partnership has garnered 127 advertising and Public Relations Awards from National, Regional & Statewide Media Organizations.
