Perth Amboy Jewelry Store Robbed Wednesday

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A jewelry store was robbed Wednesday in Perth Amboy, said police in that town.

News 12 has video that shows the front windows of the store damaged. The robbery happened at SD Jewelry gold and diamonds, located on Madison Avenue.

It was robbed by multiple suspects at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, said Perth Amboy Police. There is a police substation located just down the street.

No weapons were displayed, and no injuries were reported.

Perth Amboy Police chased the getaway car out of town, but were unable to stop it.
