Perth Amboy Man Accused Of Killing Infant Daughter, 4 Months
A 22-year-old Perth Amboy man was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder in the death of his four-month-old daughter.
PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A 22-year-old Perth Amboy man was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of his four-month-old daughter, authorities said.
The infant died on Nov. 10 while in the care of her father, Radamez Santana, 22, according to police. On that day, the Perth Amboy police responded to a 911 call reporting that an infant was not breathing. The infant was then transported to Raritan Bay Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 10:52 a.m.
Detectives determined that the child died due to injuries that occurred while she was in the care of Santana.

Santana has been charged with one count of second-degree child endangerment and one count of first-degree murder. He is currently being housed at the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center pending a detention hearing.
The case was investigated by Detective Gina Betancourt of the Perth Amboy Police Department and Detective Walter Kelley of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
