Perth Amboy Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash
He was driving a motorcycle on Convery Boulevard when he struck the side of a pick-up truck as it turned left, said the county prosecutor.
PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A Perth Amboy man was killed in a motorcycle crash May 14 in the city of Perth Amboy.
Xavier Sanchez Serrata, 28, was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark, where he later died of his injuries, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera.
The crash occurred at 2:54 p.m. on Convery Boulevard and Krochmally Avenue. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a 2021 Nissan Frontier pick-up truck, driven by a 51-year-old Perth Amboy man, and Serrata's 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling north on Convery Boulevard when it struck the side of the pick-up truck as it was turning left onto Krochmally Avenue, said Estremera.
The pick-up truck driver sustained minor injuries.
