Police Blotter: Monmouth County Residents Arrested On Drug, Assault Charges

Middletown police arrested a township man on child endangerment and simple assault charges, several county residents on drug charges and another township man on weapons charges.

Those cases were among those recently investigated by Middletown police.

According to a news release from Detective Lt. Stephen Dollinger:


April 27

Gwen Daly, 34, from Fourth Street in Highlands, arrested by Patrolman Thomas Hughes of the Anti‐Crime Unit on charges of providing false information to a police officer. She was released pending a court date.

April 28

Luis Valverde‐Mora, 37, from Main Street in the Belford section of Middletown, arrested by Patrolman Kent Thorton on charges of aggravated assault, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was held on $40,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Daniel Zimmerman, 34, from Navesink Drive in Monmouth Beach, arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.

April 29

Xavier Williams, 45, from Hopping Road in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Scott Davis on a charge of simple assault. He was released pending a court date.

Michael Muller, 31, from Princeton Street in Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Brenden Santiago on a charge of simple assault. He was held on $500 bail.

Jared Lamanno, 31, from Kimberly Court in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman John Soltysik on a charge of simple assault. He was released after posting $2,500 bail.

April 30

Emelio Rivera, 23, from 4th Street in the West Keansburg section of Hazlet, was arrested by Patrolman Nicholas Haines on charges of possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

Matthew Moran, 38, from Monmouth Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Michael Allen on charges of simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held on $26,500 bail.

Kimberly Daly, 34, from Fourth Street in Highlands, was arrested by Detective Keith Hirschbein on charges of theft by deception, possession of a hypodermic syringe, violation of a court order and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. She was held pending a court date.

Jonthan Rocha, 28, from Arvin Road in Old Bridge, was arrested by Patrolman Adam Vendetti on a warrant out of Old Bridge on charges of aggravated assault. He was held on $75,000 bail.

May 1

Stacy Perlman, 45, from Sharon Station Road in Allentown, was arrested by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel on a charge of driving while intoxicated. She was released pending a court date.

Shannon Ryan, 43, from Cooper Road in Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Adam Colfer on charges of unlawful possession of Alprazolam, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and obstructing the administration of law. She was released pending a court date.

William Allegar, 36, from Lenison Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown,, was arrested by Detective Sgt. Michael Shaffery on charges of burglary, aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $250,500 bail.

May 2

James Smith, 22, from 4th Street in Highlands, was arrested by Patrolman Richard Fulham on charges of hindering apprehension and on contempt of court warrant issued by the South Plainfield Municipal Court. He was released on his own recognizance.

Salvatore Fragale, 18, from Crawford Road in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman Richard Belmonte on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

May 4

Paul Ortiz, 52, from Ocean Avenue in Middletown, was arrested by Patrolman John Mele on a charge of possession of cocaine. He was released pending a court date.

Joseph Castro, 43, from South Stump Tavern in Jackson, was arrested by Patrolman John Mele on a charge of possession of cocaine. He was released pending a court date.

Buff Anderson, 20, from Fisk Street in Fair Haven, was arrested by Patrolman James Beirne on charges of possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe. He was released pending a court date.

Justin Torres, 20, from Seabreeze Way in Keansburg, was arrested by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood on charges of possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.
