Police Blotter: Monmouth County Residents Charged With Weapons, Drug Offenses
Middletown police arrested Monmouth County residents on charges that include possession of a weapon, cocaine possession and shoplifting.

Drug and weapons cases were among those handled by Middletown police between Feb. 11 and 23.
According to police, here’s a summary of the latest police activity in town:
Feb. 11

Dennis Knapp, 44, of Highland Avenue in the Leonardo section of town, was charged by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel, with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, terroristic threats, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $67,500 bail.
Mark Jennings, 43, of Newman Springs Road, Red Bank, was charged by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia, with disorderly conduct. He was released pending a court date.

Abraham Diaznieto, 50, of Route 35, Red Bank, was charged by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth with driving while suspended for a DWI conviction. He was released pending a court date.
Feb. 12
Michael Olski, 49, of Atlantic Avenue, Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Kent Thornton, with simple assault. He was released pending a court date.
Anthony Schiano, 26, of Ohio Avenue, Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Brian McGrogan, with possession of heroin. He was released pending a court date.
Dennis Downey, 57, of St. John’s Place, Keansburg, NJ, was charged by Patrolman Stephanie Geisel with disorderly conduct. He also had an outstanding contempt of court warrant, issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. He was held on $367 bail.
Rodney Reid, 63, of Plaza De La Trinidad, Freehold, NJ, was charged by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth with simple assault. He was released on $1,000 bail with a 10 percent option.
Michael Parulis, 47, of Main Street in the Port Monmouth section of town, was charged by Patrolman Jesse Toma with driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 13
Eleni Berry, 34, of Route 590 in Lackawaxen, Pa., was charged by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia, with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. She was released pending a court date.
Michael Miles, 21, of Manymind Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, was charged by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was released pending a court date.
Feb. 14
Daniel Taylor, 26, of Cedar Avenue, Middletown was charged by Patrolman William Rodewald, with shoplifting from the Rite Aid Pharmacy. He was released pending a court date.
Feb. 15
Two Middletown boys, ages 16- and 17-years-old, were charged by Patrolman Michael Reuter with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Both juveniles were released pending a court date.
Feb. 17
Joseph Bustin, 35, of Sherwood Avenue, Keyport, was charged by Patrolman Brian McGrogan, with providing false information to a police officer, hindering apprehension, and obstructing the administration of law. He also had outstanding contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Woodbridge municipal courts. He was held on $618 bail.
Tyrone Kuziw, 47, of Carter Avenue in Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Adam Colfer, with possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine within 500 feet of a public park, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing the administration of law, tampering with evidence and harassment. He was held on $59,000 bail.
Feb. 19
Michael Slevin, 25, of Pacific Avenue in Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Patrick Leonard, with driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.
Feb. 20
Brian Dorsey, 46, of Fourth Street in West Keansburg, was charged by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood, with driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date.
Jon Morgan, 25, of Willis Place in Keansburg, was charged by Patrolman Brian McGrogan with shoplifting from the Sears Store. He also had outstanding contempt of court warrants issued by the Keansburg and Middletown municipal courts. He was held on $275 bail.
Kristie Lepard, 24, of Kentucky Avenue in Middletown, was charged by Corporal Robert McNair with possession of heroin. She also had an outstanding contempt of court warrant issued by the Red Bank Municipal Court. She was held on $250 bail.
Cole Murch, 18, from Latham Avenue in the Navesink section of town, was charged by Corporal Carl Roth with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and terroristic threats. He was held on $7,500 bail.
Feb. 21
Louis Rabenda, 80, of Hancock Court in Red Bank, was charged by Police Officer Lisa Vreeland, with driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court date. Matthew Leitch, 28, of Shore Road in Union Beach, was charged by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel, with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.
A 16-year-old Middletown boy was charged by Patrolman Raymond Sofield with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of an imitation firearm, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.
Feb. 22
Pedro Rodriguez, 58, of Port Monmouth Road in Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Raymond Sofield with driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine. He was released pending a court date.
Feb. 23
Karen Josko, 43, of Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, was charged by Patrolman Richard Fulham with disorderly conduct. She was released pending a court date.
