Middlesex Boro Police Chief Donates To Raritan Bay Mental Healthcare

The Middlesex County Police Chiefs' Association donated $1,500 to ​Raritan Bay Medical Center, to be used for behavioral/mental healthcare.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — This December, the Middlesex County Police Chiefs Association donated $1,500 to Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, to be used for behavioral/mental health services.

“Recognizing that behavioral health services are critical to a healthy society, we are proud to be able to support Raritan Bay Medical Center in their efforts to provide the best possible resources to those in need of help," said Middlesex borough Police Chief Matthew Geist, who is also president of the Middlesex County Chiefs of Police Association.

“The need for behavioral health services has grown exponentially over the years," said Patricia Carroll, president and CEO of Raritan Bay Medical Center. "We are just truly grateful for the generosity."

She also said, "Particularly at this time of year (the holiday season), we see such a large increase in people needing (mental and behavioral health) services."
