Police In Monmouth County Searching For Spray-Paint Vandals

The vandalism occurred in the neighborhood off of Bethany Road late Saturday night into Sunday morning, according to the Hazlet Police Department’s Facebook page.

WABC reported that 16 homes in Hazlet were “were spray-painted with explicit symbols.” One resident told the television station that his vehicle was sprayed with some type of tacky substance, and as he tried to scrub it off, his car’s paint was coming off too.

Police said they also received a report about a vehicle that was scratched, and had two of its tires punctured.
