Popular Keyport Bar/Restaurant Abruptly Closes
Their last day of business was Monday, Feb. 23.
KEYPORT, NJ — Old Glory, a popular local watering hole but also dining spot in the heart of Keyport's business district, abruptly announced it will be closing.
Their last day of business was Monday, Feb. 23. Old Glory announced the news on their Facebook page that same day:
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits will be closing its doors on Feb. 23, 2026," they wrote. "We would love nothing more than to continue seeing you at McDonagh's Pub, where the same spirit, care and community will always be waiting for you."

Anyone with a gift card for there, it will be honored at McDonagh's Pub. McDonagh's has also hired "many" Old Glory staff members, said the restaurant.
The restaurant did not post a reason why, and they did not immediately respond when Patch asked.
