Power Line Currently Down On Cliffwood Ave. In Matawan
A power line is currently down on West Cliffwood Avenue in between Matawan Ave. and Rt. 35.
MATAWAN, NJ — A power line is currently down on West Cliffwood Avenue in between Matawan Ave. and Rt. 35.
Cliffwood Avenue east will be closed for the next few hours through Wednesday evening. Residents should avoid the area. There is no time frame for when the road will reopen.
JCP&L said at some point for at least one hour the entire of Cliffwood Avenue will be closed Wednesday afternoon/evening. Police are on the scene assisting with traffic.

Amboy Road and Old Bridge-Matawan Road in Old Bridge is also currently closed due to the power lines down.
There are no power outages reported as of now.
