Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

Temple Shalom of Aberdeen and New Light Baptist Church of Cliffwood Beach joined together to honor the memory of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Friday January 16th and Sunday, January 18th. On January 16th, Temple Shalom, 5 Ayrmont Lane, welcomed Rev. John Armstrong and his congregation to Friday night services. Rev. Armstrong was the speaker at the service. On Sunday, January 18th Rabbi Laurence Malinger spoke at the service at New Light Baptist Community Church, 233 Center Street in Cliffwood Beach. The Temple Shalom and New Light choirs joined together in song at both services.
