Reminder: 2 Meetings Today On Aberdeen Twp. Flood Prevention

The U.S. Army/DEP will give two presentations Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. at Aberdeen Town Hall and 6-8 p.m. at Cliffwood Beach Community Center.

ABERDEEN, NJ — Just a reminder:

There will be two opportunities Wednesday for Aberdeen residents to hear from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection on the Cliffwood Beach Coastal Resiliency project.

The U.S. Army/DEP will give two presentations on the flood control project, the first from 2-4 p.m. at Aberdeen Town Hall and the second from 6-8 p.m. at the Cliffwood Beach Community Center (Fiorendo Sigismondi Community Center, 651 Prospect Ave, Keyport, NJ 07735).

This is one of the initial phases as the U.S. Army Corp creates a feasibility study as to what Aberdeen Township and the state government can implement to protect the Cliffwood Beach area from future erosion and flooding.
