KEYPORT, NJ — Republicans and Democrats will duke it out in the Keyport mayoral race this year:

Keyport Mayor Rose Araneo (Republican) will ask voters to re-elect her, joined by the Republican candidates for two seats on the town Council, Judith Scibetti and Joseph Piccinich.

Current Councilwoman Kathleen McNamara is the Democrat who will challenge Araneo for mayor.

The primary election will be June 2.
