Save A Life - Narcan Kits Available For Family And Friends Of Loved Ones Using Heroin / Opioids

           JOIN US ON JUNE 18th - DOORS OPEN 5:15 - MATAWAN

On Thursday, June 18, a substance abuse program offering free Narcan (Naloxone) Kits and training on how to administer the drug, which can reverse a heroin or other opioid overdose, will be sponsored by the Right Your Life organization and presented by JSAS Healthcare, Inc.of Neptune, NJ. The program will take place at the Matawan First Aid Squad Building, 28 Little St., Matawan, NJ, and will begin at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm. JSAS says the one-hour presentation of Narcan Kits and training will be limited to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants should be people who are at risk of a heroin/opioid overdose or --- who have family and friends who are at risk.

The same 30 participants will also receive a voucher for 30 days of free substance abuse treatment at the JSAS Healthcare facility to use for themselves or to distribute to any person needing medication-assisted treatment.

The event is co-sponsored by Right Your Life, a 501c3 non-profit organization that aims to provide financial help and resources, as well as alternative activities to help teens overcome the corrosive effects of addiction in Monmouth, Middlesex & Ocean Counties.
