Mater Dei will shut down as a parish high school at the end of the academic year, but supporters of the school want to reopen it in September as an independent, private Catholic high school.

The school is registering students and scheduling classes.

Parents who want to enroll their children are asked to call Dennis Tobin, the school’s athletic director and administrative assistant to the principal, at 732-671-9100 ext. 12.

Concert tickets are on sale at the Count Basie box office. Tickets cost $45 and $59, with a limited amount of VIP $125 orchestra seats available. Those VIP tickets include a pre-show cocktail party.
