Sensitive Santa for Children with Autism
December 14, 2014 Knights of Columbus 63 Lincoln Ave, Jamesburg, NJ 9am-6pm ***BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*** $10 per child

Each year families with Children of Autism find it quite challenging to enjoy celebrating the holidays. It is time for children with Autism and special needs to be able to enjoy the same traditions during the holidays as everyone else. This event allows children with Autism to enjoy meeting Santa, in a much calmer and less intimidating environment.
Sensitive Santa means that there will be no distracting lights, overwhelming movements, or loud noises bothering children that are typically found at Christmas scenes in the mall. When meeting with Santa, only the child, the child’s family, and a staff photographer will be in the designated area.
To avoid the hassle and frustration of having families wait in long lines at the mall, there are 15 minute appointments for each child to spend with their favorite “Man in Red.

Appointments are required and must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event, to ensure that your child will have a sensory friendly and private experience with Santa. The schedule will become open as of October 1, 2014. Please call (908)217-5671 to schedule.
