Shrewsbury Woman Struck in the Face, Robbed in Aberdeen
The incident happened across the street from St. John Vianney High School at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Aberdeen, NJ - A woman was struck in the face and robbed Tuesday night in Aberdeen Township, police there reported.
The woman, a 26-year-old Shrewsbury resident, said she was approached by two men on Idaho Lane at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. One of the men struck her in the face and took her cell phone, she told police. The subjects then rummaged through her vehicle and fled on foot toward Line Road. The incident happened across the street from St. John Vianney High School.
One subject was described as tall and stocky and both were wearing black, hooded sweatshirts. The woman sustained a bruise and cut around the eye, Aberdeen Police Chief John Powers said. She was treated at Bayshore Community Hospital.
