Please join us on Saturday, June 16th, 7:00pm to midnight, for an enchanted evening of Cocktails, Dining, Dancing and Celebration as we commemorate the 55th Anniversary of Temple Shalom of Aberdeen; present the first “Commitment to Community” Award to Mt. Sinai Memorial Park; and honor our esteemed Rabbi Laurence Malinger for receiving his Doctorate of Divinity for all his accomplishments in his 25 years of distinguished professional service in the rabbinate.
Disraeli stated that “Life is too short to be little.” Clearly, Rabbi Malinger adopted that wisdom early in his life and applied it as his steadfast North Star during his service at Congregation Beth Emeth in Delaware; and continues to do so as our dedicated Senior Rabbi, as an innovator in Jewish education, and an inspiring leader in interfaith relations throughout our state.
Nothing would make Rabbi Malinger happier than having community friends, other congregation members, and beneficiaries of our Temple’s 55 years of social action support come together in our Social Hall for an unforgettable evening of friendship, joy and exciting raffle items!
