Someone Is Throwing Bricks in Doors of Perth Amboy Businesses
There's been an uptick in Perth Amboy stores being robbed, police reported.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ - There's been an uptick in Perth Amboy stores being being robbed, and police say they may have located the suspect after they caught a man throwing a brick through a store door Wednesday.
Perth Amboy police were on a special burglary detail at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in regards to the uptick in business burglaries. Thomas Riggins Jr. was spotted by police throwing a brick into the front glass door of the business located at 206 Smith Street. He was stopped and arrested.
Riggins was charged with criminal attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools. Perth Amboy police say they are currently investigating several other business burglaries, which all have similarities as the arrest. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lt.
