South Amboy Addiction Treatment Alums Volunteer At JBJ Soul Kitchen

RED BANK, NJ — This week, employees from the Recovery Centers of America at Raritan Bay, a drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility in South Amboy, paid a visit to Jon Bon Jovi's Soul Kitchen in Red Bank.

JBJ Kitchen has no prices, but instead provides free food for the hungry, or gives food in exchange for an hour of volunteer work. It is referred to as a "community restaurant."

Volunteers with Recovery Centers of America at Raritan Bay’s Alumni Association helped clean up the restaurant, both indoors and outdoors.

For the third year, Recovery Centers of America was recognized by Newsweek’s 2022 America’s Best Addiction Centers rankings. Call 1-800-Recovery with complimentary transportation provided in most cases.
