South Amboy Liquor Store Sells Winning Lottery Ticket

SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — Did you buy a lottery ticket recently at Main Liquor in South Amboy?

The liquor store, at 533 Main St., sold a winning ticket this week, the NJ State Lottery announced Thursday. The ticket actually splits the $727,623 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, Nov. 1 drawing with two other winning tickets. Each ticket is worth $242,541. The winning numbers were: 03, 13, 25, 27 and 39 and the XTRA number was: 04. Each of the three tickets matched all five numbers drawn.

Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Cumberland County: Waa Laa King, 747 West Landis Ave., Bridgeton
• Essex County: Stop & Shop #2807, 875 Bloomfield Ave., West Caldwell
• Middlesex County: Main Liquor, 533 Main St., South Amboy

Those three retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Check your pockets!
