The year is 20XX. After the drought. After the Stink Years. Private bathrooms are outlawed. All "private business" is handled through the Urine Good Company, who charges each person a tax to use their amenities. And that old tax gets higher and higher. Can't afford it? Well, it's off to Urinetown you go.
But a rebellion is bubbling up. A rebellion that will change the course of the lives of everyone in the city. Will the rebels open the floodgates to a bright future? Or will UGC squeeze them until they burst? Will the actors remember all of their complicated choreography? And what about their lines? Dear God, all those lines...

Performances held at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan (Corner of Route 34 and Franklin Street), on March 2, 3, 9 & 10 at 8pm, and March 4 & 11 at 3pm. Ample parking. Complimentary refreshments served at intermission. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for Seniors and Students.
