Thunderstorms Predicted For Wednesday

If you’re planning to do something outside after work today, keep your eye on the forecast.

The Weather Channel is calling for thunderstorms Wednesday in Monmouth County.

According to Weather.com, occasional thunderstorms will likely start in the area around 3:45 p.m., and by 5 p.m., there is a 100 percent chance of thunder and rain.

The rain will taper off and clear by nightfall, the forecast says.

4 p.m. - 90 percent chance of thunderstorms

5 p.m - 100 percent chance of thunderstorms

6 p.m. - 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms

7 p.m. - 75 percent chance of thunderstorms

8 p.m. - 75 percent chance of thunderstorms

9 p.m. - 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms

10 p.m. - cloudy, 25 percent chance of rain
