Two New Businesses Opening In Matawan

MATAWAN, NJ — Lightbridge Academy daycare just opened in the past few weeks at 233 Broad Street in Matawan.

Lightbridge is already accepting new students, but they're hosting a grand opening event Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be free face painting, live music, clowns, refreshments and arts and crafts, plus tours of the center for interested parents. If you enroll your child at the Sept. 16 Fall Festival, you could be eligible for a $1,200 discount towards tuition.

And a new dance studio is opening in Matawan: Owner Alexa Sanniola recently purchased what was Raising The Barre Dance Academy on Highway 34 and revamped the studio to bring a new wave of creativity and innovation to the dance world!

Lambarri Dance Arts will host a grand opening on Saturday, September 9 with classes beginning on September 11, 2017. Lambarri Dance Arts offers classes for young beginners to advanced level students whether they are dancing for fun or in pursuit of a professional dance career. Weekly classes are offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tiny Tots, Mommy & Me and Adult Levels.

Their L Co. Competitive Company is an opportunity for serious dancers to develop their technical skills at a more advanced level while creating lasting friendships, participating in team building experiences, and traveling to perform and compete throughout the dance season. Auditions for L Co. Competitive Company will be September 25, 2017 at 8:30 p.m.
