Volunteers Needed To Clean Aberdeen, Union Beach Sites

They will be cleaning Riverside Gardens Park March 30 and Conaskonk Point/Pebble Beach​ in Union Beach April 7. Lots of volunteers needed!

ABERDEEN, NJ — Looking to get outside and pitch as spring slowly warms up the Northeast? Save Coastal Wildlife, an educational and conservation non-profit, is seeking volunteers for two different clean-up days. Both sites in need of clean ups are beaches along Raritan Bay, in Aberdeen Twp. and Conaskonk Point/Pebble Beach in Union Beach.

Saturday, March 30 in Aberdeen

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Riverside Gardens Park
MEETING LOCATION: Along Riverdale Drive in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen Township, near Highway 35. On-street Parking Only!

Sunday, April 7 in Union Beach

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Conaskonk Point also known as Pebble Beach
Meeting Location: Along Chingarora Street in the Borough of Union Beach. The street is between Edmunds and Bay Avenues. On-Street Parking Only!
Physical or GPS address: 250 Chingarora Street, Union Beach, NJ 07735

  • Special Note: Please Bring Wheelbarrows to help haul away all of the trash near the bay!

Trash bags will be provided. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or wet (e.g.: long pants, boots, hat). Bring gloves. Water, bug spray and sunblock are recommended.
