Volunteers Wanted this Weekend

Bayshore cleanups will be held this Saturday and Sunday

Maple and Broad St Cleanup, Keyport, Saturday, Sept 20th, 10:00am – 12:00pm

The Keyport Environmental Commission has scheduled a clean-up between the area along Maple Ave Between Broad Street and Atlantic Street. Rain or Shine.

Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Wear: Protective Clothing – long sleeves, long pants, tall socks: (We may encounter mosquitos, ticks and poison ivy.)

Directions:
Follow Broad Street to Maple. We will meet on the grass at the intersection of Maple and Broad, across the street from 7-11.

Compton Creek Cleanup (near Sandy Hook Bay) - Sunday September 21, 2014, 10am – 12pm

Volunteers are needed to help clean Comptons Creek, a tributary to Sandy Hook Bay, located in the Port Monmouth & Belford sections of Middletown Township, NJ.

Please join the effort to keep our creeks and local waterways clean, healthy and beautiful.This effort improves habitat for fish and other critters and helps humans thrive too!

Remember to wear long pants, long sleeves and a hat. Use sunscreen and bug-spray. Bring your own reusable water bottle. Trash bags will be provided. Thank you for caring about our creeks. Please meet near the corner of Broadway and Church streets in Port Monmouth, Middletown Township, NJ.
