Woman Ejected, Killed In Old Bridge Motorcycle Crash On Rt. 9
The woman, 53, was killed and a man was seriously injured after they were ejected in a motorcycle crash on Rt. 9 at 11 a.m. Sunday:
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A 53-year-old woman was killed and a man was seriously injured after they were both ejected in a motorcycle crash in Old Bridge Sunday morning, according to Old Bridge Police.
This happened at 11 a.m. Sunday on Rt. 9 north, in the area of the ramp to Rt. 18 north.
The woman who died is Andrea Houlihan, 53, and she was pronounced deceased at Hackensack Meridian Hospital Old Bridge.

The driver of the Harley Davidson, a man, sustained significant injuries and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Old Bridge Police say a GMC SUV was on the exit ramp from Rt. 9 north onto Rt. 18 north when it suddenly crossed over the painted median and back onto Rt. 9 into traffic. This caused all cars on Rt. 9 to brake abruptly on the highway.

The man driving the motorcycle was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of a SUV, causing both the man and the woman to be ejected.
The GMC fled the scene.
