Local author A.B. Grant will celebrate the publication of her debut middle-grade fantasy novel, The Candy Box, Book One in the Scroll of the Gargoyle series, with two hometown celebration events in Medford on October 24 and 25.
The richly illustrated, magickal action-adventure follows three young friends on an extraordinary quest involving a mysterious gargoyle, a hidden scroll, strange creatures, and a crystal candy box.
Recommended for readers ages 8–12, the novel combines mystery, fantasy, folklore, and family heritage.
The book is also the inaugural publication of Truth & Tales®, a local independent publishing company.
The event will offer opportunities to meet the author, purchase signed copies of The Candy Box, and receive a FREE collectible art card or premium bookmark with each book purchase. Festivities will also include Golden Gargoyle Raffles, giveaways, activity handouts, and a special roll-the-die prize game for children. All promotional gifts, games, and activities are exclusive to attendees during the in-person launch celebrations.
