2 Mendham Wrestlers Qualify for State Championship Tournament in Atlantic City

Flitcroft, Friedman set to make run at Boardwalk Hall beginning Friday.

In New Jersey, the pinnacle of high school wrestling comes on a mat in the southeast corner of the state. Only few have the opportunity to reach Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, even less have their hands raised at the end of the final weekend of the wrestling season.

But for two Mendham High School wrestlers, that opportunity has now been earned.

Eric Friedman and Aaron Flitcroft will represent the Mendham Minutemen in Atlantic City, emerging from their individual weight classes in the Region 1 tournament, according to nj.com.
