2 State Champs Crowned From Mendham Chester Patriots Youth Wrestling Squad
Eight teammates compete in statewide tournament.

The Mendham Chester Patriots Wrestling program had itself quite a 2014-15 campaign, ending with a tremendous feat.
Eight of its wrestlers between ages five and 15 qualified for the state tournament in Trenton, with two grabbing gold and another two placing in their respective weight classes.
Eighth-grader Kaya Sement, a three-time state place winner, became the state champion in the 80-pound intermediate category.

Domenico DiGena, a two-time state placer, became the state champion in the 75-pound intermediate category.
Tristan Navarino, who qualified for the tournament for the second time, placed sixth in the 75-pound intermediate category.

Finally, Eren Sement, a first-time qualifier for the state tournament, took fifth place in the 55-pound Bantam category.
Teammates Pete Tringali (105), Alex Winant (120), Andrew Bryan (112), and Cole Klenke (85) all qualified for the state tournament.
