MENDHAM, NJ - Despite the impact of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, outbreak in our area the primary election season is gearing up in Mendham Borough and Mendham Township.

Things appear quiet in Mendham Borough a pair of sitting councilmen have filed to win their party's nomination in July.

Republicans Brad Badal and John Andrews have filed for another shot at the dais.

Also filing by the deadline was Democrat Melissa Young, hoping to secure her party's nomination.

A race is shaping up in Mendham Township as sitting Democratic councilwoman Amalia Duarte has filed to run for reelection.
