The Chester, Mendham, Mendham Township, and West Morris Regional High School districts all made their decisions early Tuesday, calling for a two-hour delayed opening on Wednesday. More than five inches of snow had blanketed the area by 7 p.m. Tuesday, causing for hazardous road conditions. The storm is expected to bring as much as 10 inches before Wednesday morning. All four districts operated on an early dismissal schedule Tuesday as the storm rolled in. Schools will continue to monitor the conditions and make a decision on full closures in the morning.
