  • Why was Christie really booted from the transition team? One of the things that got in Christie's way was his support for then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. And it didn't really payoff: He was eventually booted from his leadership position on the transition team and he never got a Cabinet post. Trump says it was because of Bridgegate. Christie seems to think otherwise.
  • Why did Christie really not get the VP spot? Then there was his failed attempt to become Trump's vice-presidential nominee, and Bridgegate again was used as an excuse. But it also allegedly fell apart because of his poor relationship with Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, whose father was prosecuted by Christie a decade ago when he was a U.S. attorney.
  • What happened during those meetings with campaign and, eventually, administration officials at Trump Tower? The publisher says Christie will take readers into the "ego-driven power struggles among the top advisers competing for Trump’s mercurial attention, figures like Steve Bannon, Corey Lewandowski, Reince Priebus, Kellyanne Conway, Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner."
  • What really happened during Bridgegate? Well, some may argue that we've never really gotten a complete answer from Christie or anybody on this. But expect the ex-governor to shine some additional light on the conspiracy to close George Washington Bridge lanes – a political payback scheme targeting the Fort Lee mayor who didn't support his 2013 re-election bid – that led to at least three convictions.
  • Did Christie really get the cold shoulder because he didn't support Trump after the release of the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape? Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has said Christie wasn't considered for a Cabinet position in President Trump's administration because he failed to offer support after the release of the infamous 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape. "Christie, because of Billy Bush weekend, was not looked at for a Cabinet position," Bannon said in an interview on CBS's "60 Minutes" last year. What does Christie say about that?

“I’ve had a wild ride up till now — there’s no denying that,” Christie said in a statement. “But I have so much more to do for our country and so much more to say. ‘Let Me Finish’ is my first chance to begin to put it all out there.”
