7 Mendham Grads Achieve Excellence at Collegiate Level

From Marquette to Samford, Mendham and Chester residents make the grade at various colleges across the U.S.

Mendham High School is well known in the state for its academic excellence.

But what happens when those students go beyond the halls of the Mendham Borough building to institutions of higher learning?

For the most part, it seems, they continue to achieve and succeed.

Mendham-Chester Patch has been contacted by a variety of colleges and universities from across the country in recent weeks with notice of locals making their respective school’s Dean’s Lists. Here are some of them:

Hayley Keith, of Mendham, pursuing a degree in journalism, made the fall 2013 Dean’s List at Marquette University. Rosalee MacKinnon, also of Mendham, pursuing a degree in Public Relations also made Marquette’s Dean’s List.

David Guarino, of Chester, was named to the fall 2013 Dean’s List at Samford University.

Lauren Ellis, of Chester, was named to Dean’s List at Ohio Wesleyan University for the fall of 2013.

Three more locals made Dean’s List at Messiah College for the fall semester, including: Allison Angowski, of Chester; Spencer Mott, of Mendham; and Ashley Napolitano, of Chester.
