$777K Lotto Jackpot Ticket Sold In Morris County

DENVILLE, NJ — A jackpot winning lottery ticket was sold in Morris County last week, one of three sold that will split a $777,075 prize.

The winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at United Card & Smoke Shop, in Denville. After being split three ways, the lucky Morris County player will take home $259,025.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Sept. 30 drawing were: 10, 12, 14, 18 and 25 and the XTRA number was: 03.

The other two tickets were sold further south:

• Atlantic County: Wawa #485, 813 W. Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine
• Monmouth County: Gordon’s Corner Liquors, 350 Route 9 N., Manalapan

Another 169 ticket holders won $357 and 23 others won $1,071 with the addition of XTRA for matching four numbers. Thousands of others won prizes ranging from $12 to $2 for matching between two or three numbers.

"We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Wawa #485, Gordon’s Corner Liquors and United Card & Smoke Shop. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners," lottery executive director Carole Hedinger said.
