Alstede's Corn Maze Honors National Anthem for Anniversary

'Home of the Brave' design now open for 2014 season.

Alstede’s Farm in Chester has never been mistaken for a lack of patriotism, and this year will be no different.

This weekend, the popular agritourism attraction on Rt. 24 in Chester Township has unveiled its giant corn maze, in the shape of an American Flag blowing in the wind with the words “Home of the Brave” above it.

The farm stand, which offers everything from picking fresh fruit and pumpkins to feeding the animals, is about to enter its busy season, where fall frolickers from the tri-state area travel to take in the amenities.
