CHESTER, NJ — The person who was found stabbed to death in her Chester home has been identified, authorities announced.
Brooke Hanlon, 35, of Chester, was found dead in a Pottersville Road home on June 6, police say.
Authorities said Hanlon had multiple sharp force injuries and the manner of death was deemed homicide.
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office is conducting the investigation, along with the Chester Township Police Department and Morris County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
Nearly a month after Hanlon was found murdered, all investigators have released is the identity of the victim.
It's not clear what weapon Hanlon was killed with, if there have been any arrests, or if there are any suspects.
Hanlon was a Licensed Professional Counselor Psychotherapist, according to her LinkedIn profile.
A Daily Mail report says that she is survived by her husband, Conor Hanlon, and their daughter, Avery.
"She was remarkable in every way. She was also very, very good at her job," Hanlon's father, Joseph Haggerty, told the Daily Mail. "She was a child therapist and really helped people."
