MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham Borough will welcome fall this weekend with the return of Mendham Fest, bringing live music, food, games, local vendors, and a beer garden to Borough Park.
The annual Mendham Fest is set for this Saturday following the Harvest Hustle earlier that morning. Borough officials are billing the festival as a family-friendly way to close out summer and welcome the fall season.
Visitors can expect inflatable games for children along with Giant Jenga, Connect Four, axe throwing, and other activities for the whole family.
Food will also be a major part of the festival, with selections from local restaurants and food trucks. The Mendham Borough Fire Department will host a beer garden, while local artists, crafters, and organizations will have booths throughout the festival.
Food trucks parking at the festival will include STUF'D, Torta Truck, Pie Oh My, and Bona Bona Ice Cream.
Live music is also planned, with Kimon & The Prophets are scheduled to perform from 1 to 2:30 p.m., according to the borough's event schedule.
More than 20 local businesses, artists, and community organizations are listed as participating vendors, including the Arts Council of the Mendhams, Chester Mendham Food Pantry, Mendham Borough Library, Mendham Senior Artisans, and Rotary Club of the Mendhams.
At 3 p.m., the Rotary Club will be sealing a time capsule, which will remain sealed for a quarter of a century. Read more here.
