The Art Of Dance is Northern New Jersey’s premier dance studio with an attached dance-wear boutique located in Chester, NJ.

Job Description

The Front Desk/Retail Associate works closely with the Front Desk Manager and Staff to run the daily operations of the studio. Tasks and duties vary throughout the year and are based on the studio’s greatest needs as they occur.
The Front Desk/Retail Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Answer incoming calls, directing them accordingly and responding to inquiries2. General administrative tasks such as; maintaining a calendar of classes and rehearsal schedules, monitoring attendance and registering students for class
3. Maintaining all studio policies and procedures
4. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
5. Remain knowledgeable on products and classes offered
6. Perform day to day operations and assist with other duties as assigned
7. Driving teachers to and from studio as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Computer literacy

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Successful at juggling multiple tasks, following through, managing details, being organized and meeting deadlines
• Valid Driver’s License
• Availability on weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays
• Dance/theatre background a plus

The Front Desk/Retail Associate reports to the Front Desk/Store Manager. The position will also work closely with the Art of Dance Studio’s Director & Manager as well as the Front Desk Staff.
